No One Wants To Be The Bad Guy

No one wants to sit with the fact that they have hurt another human being in this world.

It is the reason why we like to omit and not mention certain things to the people we don’t want to hurt. It is the reason why we would rather stop talking to and ignore someone rather than confront them with the truth that we don’t them anymore. It is the reason why we don’t tell the people we like that we are in a relationship with someone else. We don’t want to be the bad guy.

No one ever wants to be the bad guy.

To be the bad guy takes courage and integrity.

Which leads me to the question: Do we truly really care for someone if we don’t even have the guts to stop stringing them along?

I don’t think so.

We care more for ourselves to not want to feel guilty than to take into consideration the other person’s feelings and actually transcend our selfish allegiance to our emotional stability.

We don’t care enough for the other person to give them the truth even if it’s a cold harsh truth because we don’t want to deal with the fact that it will cause them hurt. It will make us feel bad and no one ever wants to feel bad.

So we justify our lies by omission by telling ourselves that we “don’t want to hurt their feelings” not realizing that the undeniable Law of Truth states that the Truth will eventually always come out and if you have been  hiding or omitting that Truth it will come out in a way that is not even on your own terms. The Truth will come out in a way that is colder and harsher than it could have been had you just told it yourself in the first place.

Better to be the bad guy because you are honest even if it is brutal than to be a real bad guy because you are a liar.

P.S All the above mentioned is null and void if you believe that:

a)Truth is subjective and is really another aggressive unpalatable form of Lies and Deceit.

b) If you’re a psychopath with no Conscience.
