With these inspiring words I ran the 10km Nike Run Jozi race on the 21st March on Human Rights Day. I finished in 1hr 38min (super slow I know!) but I finished and that's what counts. At the starting line we had awesome music playing just to amp us up and then we sang the national anthem and then BOOM! We had fireworks explode at the same time as the starting gun went off. It was the most fun thing I've ever done and I have an marvelous medal and coolest t-shirt too. Next up is the 21km Soweto Marathon woop woop!
